I’ve blogged about TF2 before and I continue to extol the virtues of Team Fortress 2. This game that you can now pick up for dirt cheap continues to amuse and the devs continue to expand on it.
The latest update is a week-long war between the demoman and soldier to see who gets the special weapon update. While that’s great on the gaming side, it’s the art for all the promotions that make this really stand out.

They are even running a classic propaganda-style poster contest. Really how many games do that? Sure, many do fan-art contests, but this is something beyond that.
If you’ve never played the game before then you’ll lose some of the inside jokes. However, it’s still worth checking out.
Really, this stuff is priceless (in-game hats are a thing of prestige)!
